Millions of people worldwide live with disabilities, often facing marginalization in aspects of life like sports, employment, media, and the arts. The International Blinders Network strives to change this narrative by highlighting the extraordinary lives, resilience, and achievements of people with disabilities. We support initiatives and organizations that empower all individuals and communities within the disability spectrum, working toward equality and an improved quality of life for everyone.
Our mission is to lift the metaphorical blinders from society, fostering greater acceptance and understanding of the challenges faced by people with various disabilities. By raising awareness of the often-unseen realities that many may not fully grasp, we aim to inspire deeper empathy, inclusivity, and support for all individuals with disabilities, empowering them to live fully and make meaningful contributions to society.
The International Blinders Network exists to amplify, protect, and empower those whose voices have too often been overlooked, underestimated, or misrepresented. At the heart of our mission is a powerful truth:
Some of the most determined people on Earth might just happen to have a disability.
We stand with them—not as saviors, but as champions. We support POD—People of Determination—individuals whose challenges have forged deeper senses, unique strengths, and world-changing resilience.
The International Blinders Network does not see limitations. We see hidden potential. We see innovators, artists, athletes, creators, visionaries—who simply haven’t been given the platform they deserve.
Our work is to remove the blinders—blinders created by society, systems, and outdated narratives—so that the world can see what’s always been there:
Courage. Brilliance. Capability. Vision.
We are a movement of allies, advocates, builders, and believers.
We don’t define people by what’s missing. We define them by what’s possible.
We do not represent disability. We represent determination.
We are here to champion the unseen.

According to the World Health Organization (WHO), an estimated 1.3 billion people worldwide—around 16% of the global population—live with a significant disability.
In the United States, the Centers for Disease Control and Prevention (CDC) reports that over 1 in 4 adults (28.7%) has some form of disability.
Disabilities are varied and can impact multiple aspects of life, including mobility, cognition, vision, hearing, and mental health. Each type presents unique challenges that require tailored support.
The World Health Organization estimates that over 2.5 billion people globally rely on assistive technology—such as wheelchairs, hearing aids, or communication devices—to navigate daily life and maintain independence.
